Multipurpose Ethernet Port

The ethernet port can be used to create a secure connection to Sidos servers for real-time support and assistance when you need it.

USB-C Connectivity and Charging

Sidos Wave delivers up to four-hour battery life and can be charged using standard USB-C accessories. When plugged into a power bank, Sidos Wave can continuously survey while charging, enabling extended surveys.

Reinforced 1/4″-20 mounting slot is compatible with a standard camera and GoPro accessories, enabling the Sidos Wave to be worn with an armband or clipped on a belt or backpack.

The Wave features a class-leading antenna array isolated from components that may interfere with the signal, like metal, batteries, and electronics. It uses a unique orthogonal antenna design which allows the device to be either held or worn by the user while minimizing the impact of the user’s body on the RF signal capture. This combination of cutting-edge antenna design and user-friendly ergonomics ensures that the Wave provides the highest accuracy in RF signal capture, allowing for accurate digital modeling and efficient network troubleshooting.

The Wave is the lightest and most agile Wi-Fi measurement device available today. Its unique fanless design eliminates contaminants from entering the device and drastically cuts down on weight and power consumption. The resulting lightweight and portable form factor allows the user to hold it in their hand for shorter surveys, while a universal camera screw mount allows multiple mounting options for longer surveys.

The Wave is constructed of tough, aviation-grade materials, including billet aluminum and flame-retardant plastic. In addition to being rugged, it’s also designed to provide four hour survey capabilities in the field. The USB-C charging port can connect to any standard power bank to extend the survey time or be plugged into an outlet for continuous monitoring use cases, while over-the-air firmware updates ensure you always have the latest features.
